Charter Details
Every charter includes a crew of four — captain, first mate, second mate, and host/hostess — plus all port taxes, Sheraton marina fees, fuel, life jackets, and all required safety equipment.
Food and beverages are BYOB and BYOF. Bring whatever you like — coolers welcome, no corkage fee.
JADA accommodates up to 28 guests for private charters.
Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina

Enter the hotel lobby and walk straight through to the back. Take the stairs down to marina level, turn right past the firepits, and look for the giant white beach chair — crew will meet you there.
Yes — self-park at the Sheraton. Standard rate is $50, but the crew provides a voucher that brings it down to $15. Have your ticket ready when you exit.
Yes. JADA is BYOB and BYOF. Bring whatever you like. Coolers are welcome. There is no corkage fee.
No. JADA is a 65-foot classic sailing yawl, built in 1938. She sails on wind power — there is no engine noise or exhaust, just wind, water, and teak.
Layers are recommended — it can get noticeably cool on the water even on warm San Diego days. Soft-soled shoes are preferred on deck. No heels.
Yes, with appropriate supervision. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver before boarding.
Safety is the priority. If conditions are unsafe, JADA will not sail and we will work with you to reschedule at no penalty.
Light wind or overcast skies are not a problem — we sail in most conditions. Only severe weather or unsafe sea state triggers a cancellation.
14+ days before: full refund.
7–13 days before: 50% refund.
Within 7 days: no refund, unless JADA cancels due to weather or safety — in which case you receive a full refund or a reschedule at your choice.
A 50% deposit holds your date. Balance is due 7 days before the sail.
