Dress comfortably for a morning on the water. A light layer is recommended — it can be cooler offshore, even in June. Soft-soled shoes are preferred on deck.
JADA provides chilled water and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring food, wine, or anything else you like — there is no corkage fee.
Flowers and biodegradable mementos may be scattered at sea alongside Sue's ashes. The crew will be glad to assist with anything you have planned.
When JADA reaches the ceremony site, the captain will slow the boat and bring her to rest. The crew will stand quietly at attention.
The family leads the ceremony. There is no script, no schedule to keep at that moment — take whatever time you need. The captain will take his cue from you.
You will not be rushed.
